On a winch with a maximum pulling force of 100 tons, the solution was tested with simulated wave movements, rapid changes in direction, and line forces up to 60 tons. The test showed constant line tension and very good control at all speeds and force levels – even at zero speed.
The results strengthened the customer's confidence in the technology and opened up discussions about new projects.
